RAUNCHY Prepare To Release Sophomore Album
November 3, 2003Denmark's RAUNCHY have posted the following message on their official web site:
"Just an update on what's going on in the RAUNCHY camp. At the moment we're awaiting the release of 'Confusion Bay' (release February 9) and we're pretty damn excited to get some reactions as we're VERY proud of the result.
"We're also discussing which song to do a video for ...either 'Watch Out' or 'I Get What I See'. Two weeks ago Morten, Jesper T. and Lars C. did a studio/pre-release interview with Hammer magazine (Germany). The article will be brought in the December edition ...so go buy it!
"In the rehearsal room, things are great and we're actually writing some new stuff and trying out various ideas which sounds very, very promising. We're also rehearsing for doing live shows and we're working on some tour dates as well. -)
"Finally, we've created a small video clip which is from various live shows around Europe. The song in the clip is a song taken from the forthcoming album. What are you waiting for… download the clip here (3.4 MB)! See you... BANGERS!"
As previously reported, "Confusion Bay" (view cover here) was recorded and mixed at producer Jacob Hansen's (INVOCATOR) Hansen Studios in Ribe, Denmark. 12 songs were reportedly tracked for the follow-up to last year's highly acclaimed "Velvet Noise", including a cover of FAITH NO MORE's "From Out Of Nowhere", which will be used as a bonus track for the album's Scandinavian edition.
